Computation of the metric

  1. Relevant data concerning the tasks and their associated story points is extracted from the project management tools for each team member.
  2. Upon marking a task as completed in the project management tool for each team member, the corresponding story points are aggregated to compute the total "story points completed" within the specified time frame.
  3. The "story points completed per member" metric is then calculated as the ratio of the total story points completed by each team member to the number of members in the selected team.
