Epics Resolved

Count of the issue type 'Epic' resolved in the selected time period. The definition of an 'Epic' is mapped to the underlying issue tracking tools (Jira, Linear, Clickup etc).

Computation of the metric

  1. Epics are filtered based on their completion status within the chosen time frame, counting those that transitioned to the completed state.

Use cases of this metric

  1. Features team that use epics to track larger features will show progress by completing epics on a regular basis.
  2. Teams that do not use Epics, will not show any epic completion. These might be support/servicing teams, for teams working on features it is always a good practice to group user stories into epics
